We’re turning two acres of old gold-diggings into a regenerative, Solarpunk outpost. It’s a work in progress built on salvage, sunlight, and earth.
Our goal is to use this land to connect, with the world, each other, and the elements. “Mother Duck” is our metaphor – a protected, generative space for a broader brood.
We want to invite you here, but it’s an “un-hosting” model. This is an invitation for friendly overlapping.
The Deal
* Life Support: We provide the core systems for comfort and living, accomodation, cooking and toilet.
* Autonomy First: You’re mostly self-sufficient. You cook your own food and find your own rhythm.
* The Overlap: We’ll likely share a few meals, a fire, and some sharp conversation, but your time is yours.
* The Vibe: No program. No fees. No obligations. Use the farm as a base to explore the bush or just rot in a hammock.
* Contribution: If you want to sweat for an hour in the morning—watering, moving timber, building or tinkering—great. If not, just being here is enough.
The Gear:
* Sleep: A/C Caravan (Queen, sleeps 2), 26m² Studio (sleeps ~4), or BYO tent (we also have a MASH tent (sleeps ~4).
* Facilities: Basic and “love-built.” Hillbilly shower, composting toilet, simple cooking setups.
* Timing: Book in for a day, a weekend, or a full week through Summer and Autumn.
Why?
Because ecosystems don’t work in isolation. We’re experimenting with how to live in a way that gives more than it takes. Come add your energy to the land and see what happens?
